Had they fought back, prolly woulda been an inch beyond life.. There is a difference, but not to the aggressor.. it's what they need and want. Validation. I truly think most aggressive types don't see themselves as such.. they see themselves as the opposite. They act that way cause they're scared and do it for "protection".

I think he taught passive resistance.. The point being, if you meet aggression with agression, you give the agressor the validation they need to be aggressive. Ever watched some aggressive asshole beat on a guy while demanding they fight back, and stop quick if they don't?
