NEW YORK (AP) -- Two cases of the human swine influenza have been confirmed in Kansas and one more in California, bringing the U.S. total to 11. At least eight students at a New York City high school probably have swine flu also, but health officials said Saturday they don't know whether they have the same strain of the virus that has killed people in Mexico....

This 's getting serious. They are talking pandemic on this. I'm not saying anything myself, but with all the past talk of diseases coming from Mexico and illegal immigrants into the US, this isn't going to help that cause, at least if the media is honest.

Oh yea. The first person to think or say that I'm racist can kiss my ***. Almost all of the warnings and infections caused by e-colli or salmonilla have been on stuff connected to either Mexico or illegal immigrant labor.

Use toilet paper and wash your friggin' hands. As for salmonilla, quit messing with the chicken/turkey **** and wash your hands.

I really hope this isn't some kind of bio-attack that has been released in the US because nobody since Reagan wanted to secure the border. Well GW Bush tried but was obstructed and the 800 mile fence he was able to pass was cut this year.

Boy I hope not. I was just talking to a few illegals the other day. I even bought them a few big macs and now I'm getting a sore throat. You don't suppose...? :eek:

At this point, the reaction has been overreation!

How about being proactive instead of reactive? Some things will slip through the net, however closing and securing our borders would be a good start.

In the meantime, wash your hands thoroughly and don't kiss an illegal.

How quickly do the dogs of war turn on their masters?

As of now, the federal government is going to release 25% of its stockpile of Tamiflu and Relenza. Governor Rick Perry of Texas has requested for more than 37,000 doses of Tamiflu to be sent to his state. The liberals are giving him a hard time about that. They are calling him a "hypocrite," citing that just two weeks ago Rick Perry made mention of succession and now he is calling on the federal government for help in this flu pandemic. Yeah, that's about as braindead an argument as you could expect from a liberal.

And as of now, Texas is still part of the union and the federal government does have control of these stockpiles. So... if he's a hypocrite for requesting aid then so be it!

Let us not forget that the United States would be the first to send said stockpiles to foreign governments to thwart a possible pandemic, or send aid to help with a natural calamity.

Of course they're gonna give Texas the aid, that's what we Americans do for other Americans. But, ya know that guy just HAS to get all kinds of SHlT flipped to him the entire time. :D .

Can't be a bio-attack, the virus has only been killing Mexicans in Mexico, it wouldn't make sense. You have a point on the rest though.

Or it can be punishment for chicken & pig humpers... I'll know where to start pointing fingers & raising suspicions if lamb flu ever develops and starts spreading....
