The swine flu hasn't killed anyone in the US this year.

The regular flu has already killed thousands this year.
True (although see BM's comment above), but what is alarming about this type of flu is that most people have not been exposed to it. It is a rarer and newer kind of strain, thus most people haven't developed an immunity to it and a vaccine doesn't exist yet either. So it has the merit and possibility of turning into what the so-called Spanish Flu of 1918 did and even what common European diseases did to the Natives way back when in this continent.

There was a death in Texas yesterday... A 22 month old Mexican baby visiting relatives.

It is just a matter of time before they draw a link between global warming and the swine flu.

Mill around. Mill around.

Yeah, it was Obama who generated all of this mass hysteria.... If anything, he was one of the calmest people about this while at the same time not totally dismissing it in case there was some merit to it.

Watching my favorite channel  they were explaining the problem with this is that it has crossed from pigs to humans and visa versa. This type of virus is very rare but dose accure. I think we can find out a lot with this strain.
