I actually don't get this thread. I mean, I do, but it's just so pointless.

If LP sucks live, it's just a matter of opinion.

Yeah you are right...but I don't think they suck at all...ok there are mistakes..but come on...something always can go wrong...it would be boring if everything would be perfect....

personally, i reckon they are ****** sweet live.

Watch RAR 04 or State Theater 03, both insanely awesome concerts.

Plus, LP are creative, both in studio, and live.

Take the freeman coliseum videos released the other week, where brad and dave swap instruments. You dont see many bands doing that. Not to mention the amount of people LP collaborated with live at Projekt Revolution.

Plus they really know how to start a crowd, especially Wish at RAR 04, that was insanely, a sea of clapping hands.

LP dont suck live dude, and at least they play live, instead of lip syncing.

Best acts I have seen live (stage or tv)

Rage Against The Machine

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Cypress Hill

Goldie Looking Chain (studio they suck but live are insanley good)

Jurassic 5

Foo Fighters (they swap instruments alot and change vocalsit lol)

Queens Of The Stoneage (since the lead vocalist roots where just improvising albums with a band called Kyuss they are very creative live)

I would rate LP as Mediocre, unfourtenetly they sound too much like the album live and the structure of their songs along with layering doesnt allow for much in the way of improvisation.

Yeah you are right...but I don't think they suck at all...ok there are mistakes..but come on...something always can go wrong...it would be boring if everything would be perfect....

d00d i think the great essence of a singer or a group is show to us in the live concerts. Actually as 'Vash_the_Stampede' said, i prefer to listen to live concerts. I think some songs like LYING FROM YOU, FIGURE 09, ONE STEP CLOSER and many others, are better live than in Meteora or Hybrid Theory Albums.

d00d i think the great essence of a singer or a group is show to us in the live concerts. Actually as 'Vash_the_Stampede' said, i prefer to listen to live concerts. I think some songs like LYING FROM YOU, FIGURE 09, ONE STEP CLOSER and many others, are better live than in Meteora or Hybrid Theory Albums.

I agree I havnt listined to there studio albums in like months..I love the way papercut and a place for my head sound live.

Well its a matter of opinion. I dont like LP live.

Maybe you guys like it live, I dont know....

But - honestly - never thought theres so many people that like LP live. ;)

LP live is actually better than LP on CD....it's just more intense and more personal....and more emotions...that's what I think about it...

What did u expect from an LP fan, im not huge fan of most of their live set it still sounds just too like the studio albums which isnt a good thing from a live act, they arent bad live its just its not great.

yeah.. A Place for my head live rocks..

People Watch and hear the great voice of Chester in the screaming parts ("GO AWAY" / "LIKE THIS ISNT.." / "SHUT UP" (My favourite) ) are F*cking awesome d00dz.. Some singers or bands, scream and those things SUCK BIG *****.

But in my opinion, when chester Sings live, is better than in the cd..

So why teh **** u think im herE and other persons? Some guys listened to the albuns but that didn't complete that feeling and u start wanting more and more. SO bought Live in texas and i became :O
