A very bittersweet day

I got shut down by Holly Brook.... in the FMMB chat today.

Yep.

I asked her if I could take her out to dinner when I tuned 18, which is in July, and she said, "sorry I only like older men"

so now I'm heartbroken.

And I thought I could vent on LPF.

It's not funny.

I told her when my b-day was, and she said "Oh Yay" but I don't know if she was talking to me or if she was replying to another question in the chat. When the transcript comes out, I'll share it with you guys and see what you think.

If everyone wanted someone older though, then nobody'd be dating.

Meh, that's alright. I didn't expect her to jump at the chance, she doesn't know me.

She'll just have to get to know me.

ahhahahahaha. .... wait. are you being serious? you're sad because you got turned down by someone you know from a chat room? and how long have you known her? if she doesn't even know you that well, how could you expect her to even consider saying yes? just a question. not meant to be offensive. but i know I wouldn't (ever) consider dating someone i met from a chat room. well.. unless i got to know them for quite some time. (3 years min.)

i know a girl at my HS named Holly Brooks. yay.

you have a point there. And that my friend is genius.

and i'm sorry, i know how it feels to be shut down because you were younger than someone even though there was more than just potential. however, on the brightside, not everyone can say that hollybrook told you a few words.

I thought it was worth it.

She's only twenty. She's not that much older than me. And she hasn't had enough time to become calloused by fame. So I figured I might have a shot.

Why don't you all just shut the **** up?

It's not like I just asked her to make her laugh. Or to make you laugh.

It's not like I'm just some ***-starved lunatic. It's not about that. At all. She's a wonderful human being and for once, I'd like to date someone worth the time to date.

So what if she's the first one that came to mind?

Who gives a ****?

You guys are just making me want to try harder.
