I have personal preferences though. I usually don't like younger guys, they're far too emotionally immature.
Lol. Just thought of a joke I could crack to that comment.

But you two are in college. Let's face it 6 years isn't a drama. In effect it may seem weird if you were 6 years older (some people would think its weird, not me, but another social drama) - I think you may be over-thinking things. No sweat so far as I see or anyone else should. Like I said if you were 16 and he were in college I might start thinking it's a bit... unsavory. No matter. No biggie. Enjoy yourself ;) Be good. Be SAFE. Have fun. No one said it has to be a forever thing... unless you want it to be. :)
Spare the lecture. :-/

Yeah.. I think large age differences are okay if you're over 16.

I'm 20 months younger than my boyfriend... A few people we know think it's wrong. -.-;

I know a guy that's 15 and he's going out with a 12-year-old. I think it's a bit creepy...

i think any relations ship where the couple is younger than 16 is stupid/creepy. they are too young to really know what they want IMO. And it never lasts anyway.

I've found it to be true, no matter what. (Age difference of more than 6 years)

Guys who date younger girls: Just want ***, emotionally stunted

Guys who date older girls: Insecure, looking to get an ego boost.

Girls who date younger guys: They do it for the ***.

Girls who date older guys: Money, money, money.

its not always true....but its a close stereotype of the types of relationships that would occur

i dont think its a problem, its up your own moral codes, i try not to go outside of a +/- 2.5 year gap, but thats just me

I think 2 years is an okay difference in age,me and my gf are both the same age so I don't really have to worry about it lol

When I was 12 I dated a 16 year old.

When I was 13 I dated a 15 year old.

I was with him when I was 14 and he was 16.

And when I was 15 and he was 17.

The last guy I dated last is almost 3 months younger than me...

I typically think it's an automatic deal breaker if the guy is younger.

But I really loved him. Still do tbh.

But I think age doesn't REALLY matter as long as you're both on the same level and you're both mature.

Problem with my past is that the first time, I wasn't ready, the second time, neither of us were ready, I wasn't mature... and the last time... he wasn't mature, he wasn't ready. *sigh*

But still. Maybe like 10 years can be bad, but once both people have fully matured it doesn't mean anything. Like a 33 43 year old... Not a big deal right? But a 17 and 27 year old might be different. Chances are, you're in different places.

As long as you're both on the same page... whatever.
