just cuz chester sings, doesnt mean he should get paid more, playing guitar isnt as easy as it looks, and drummers are under a fair bit of pressure in most bands aswel as most bands i know of use the drums as a guide. And joe's sounds add a lot too.
what i'm saying is they should all get paid around the same because they are all lifting their share of the weight

Meh, I don't know...I don't think they get paid equally...I think Mike, Joe and Chaz get more than other 3 guys...
I know for band Nightwish...Tuomas gets much more money then the others...I think that second on the list is bassist and he gets about a half less than Tuomas...yup, that's how it is...
But, I don't know...maybe they're paid pretty equally after all...

Oh please...only a greedy ******* would take more then his fair share. I'm pretty sure that they spread the money out equally. Its only fair, since they all put an equal amount of effort into everything.
But, thats just how I see it. Maybe that isn't the way it is...who knows? Hollywood is wack.

What about Joe directs their MV, and Mike designs their album covers??? Do you think they get additional pay for tat?

they each get paid the same, theyre not the type of guys hu wood stick their finger in the pot more than once. i think with stuff like joes MVs etc, its for expierience and it DOES save the guys the extra money of having to ship in their own director and such.
it would go the same with album covers etc, shinoda does his art as a side thing, and then he incorporates them into the album designs.
the extra money any of the members cood make thru additional stuff they do, ie joe and his additional clothing outlet chain thing, mike and fort minor etc

Scuse me are u LP's financial manager cause u seem pretty sure of it lol. Seriously the fact is often money in an album is split up like this

Its stone cold fact but as they all write part of the music they will all get a cut of the writiers pie but only Mike produces so its probably an assumption he wouldget more from the album sales of Meteora, if in the producer credit it said: Linkin Park then they would all get the cut.

yeah commision is from record sales is all split up upon what you do album artwork its anything to get paid for if anything you save money but not having someone else design it
Joe does get some money for music videos I would think since Warner would have to pay someone for it....
But you most realize they all have endorsments deals so they bring in on a **** load on that like Ibanez, Paul Reed Smith Guitars, DC, and so on so forth...I doubt there is equal pay my guess Mike makes the most because of producing credits
But I'm not there final advisor either

Well it must not have been enough' date=' since they felt the need to go to war with thier record label for a bigger piece of the cash pie.

they werent jus arguing for themselves mind you. apparently they were arguing for the musicians in general, plus i think the idea of this was to not really earn more money,but to be able to attain a much larger recording contract which involved more albums. coz im pretty sure,as memory serves, that the money wasnt actually that much more per album, just more album releases.
