According to the audit, inspectors looked at whether contractors at
Hill had recorded all the government assets stored at the facility in
a computerized inventory system.

That included parts for Peacekeeper and Minuteman intercontinental
ballistic missiles, which are stored at the base and awaiting disposal
or destruction.

Of 21 items inspectors were looking for, only one was properly
accounted for in a computerized inventory.

Let's see, Nixon took over in 1969 and was impeached and resigned in
1972 or 73 and the U.S. didn't pull completely out until 1975. It was
just as much Nixon's war as Johnson's. Kennedy wouldn't have escalated
it and may have been in the process of shutting it down when he was
assassinated.

Nixon was going to be impeached, but resigned. Clinton was
acquitted of all charges and didn't resign, and enjoyed a
rise in popularity as he continued to outwit right-wingers

You mean like the Democrats in Congress are doing now? Elected in 2006
to end the war. Hows that coming?

The facts are that the Congress can end the war. They have voted twice
to continue. They do not want the war to end because it is a campaign
tool for them. The Democrat Congress owns this war for refusing to
stop it as they promised. They lied perhaps?
