i have to agree with you there... they were going all emo and it just didn't suit them.... but they did have a good run, 10 years is pretty good for anyone.... and who knows, they'll probs do a tour or something in a few years

and don't talk about linkin park splitting up.... if they do i'm gonna blame you lot for jynxing them kidding!

This is a sad, sad day for music. Punk rock just lost one of the few good bands left in the genre, now all we have is Good Charlotte and Green Day.

As a Blink-182 fan, it really SUCKS to see it happen. But, I love those guys. They most likely did it for there families - they are all very dedicated to them, and they probably want to spend time with them. In the end, they follow there hearts, which is what they have always done.

Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker: I salute you! Rock on forever you three. Enjoy what you've got and remember we all love you.

Likewise. I thought they were in thier prime. The last album was spectacular, but you know in some ways you could have seen it coming. If you listen to the lyrics of Asthenia (sp?) there is some correlations...and the fact they self-titled the last album. They were making a statement.

Yea, Blink 182 was a good band. I didn't listen to them that much but I bought their newest cd and it was ok. Their older stuff was better in my opinion. Anyways, it still sucks to see them go...
