i heard it on TRL today as well (yes, i was flipping through channels and i heard blink and 'news that will upset fans')

I am just.... shocked. :eek:

That's a shame :( Recently, I didn't listen to them as much as I used to, but it's still a shame that they split up. They were a good band, and I was still hoping to someday see them live. But well, it's understandable that they want to rest and enjoy their families, so let's hope they make the best of this time. And if they ever get together again, we'll still be here to listen :)

Blink-182 was one of my fav. bands. I'll miss them being around. but at least i heard that Travis was starting a reality show. i dont know what it's called but i'll check it out. anyways, good luck to Travis, Tom, and Mark.

its called meet the barkers. it was spose to come out on mtv in jan.

frankly, I'm not fazed about Blinkie. I never liked them. But Korn's situation is just weird. I liked Korn. I hope they can still go on!

As was I. After a great album like thier last one, I figured they would still go on for a good few more years...ah well. Things are unpredictable...or as some witty redneck put it, s*** happens.

yeh i got that, a lot of my friends didn't know when i saw them the next day so i told them.... they thought i was joking... i wasn't... some of their reactions were really saddening... i don't really like the band, well tom delonge's voice... but it really brought me down :(

See ya. One less terrible band out there, actually make that two because Boxcar Racer is even worse. Hopefully some more of these poppy MTV punk bands will follow in their footsteps. This was a great day not only for punk music, but music in general. Thanx Blink for realizing you suck.
