Burn or buy?

I agree with Reflectionist to an extent. Obviously some people Dled it and didnt go out and buy. I dled it and burned it, then when it came out and I went and bought the special editition. I just don't like to wait.

i did that with the rising tied, i find the download versions hav a bigger kb/s, thus making it sound better on my computer, but then id hav a copy of the rising tied for my walkman.

Or you could rip the CD at the highest bit rate possible, which would probably be faster then downloading it.

Anyway, back on topic. If some of the songs were leaked or released a bit early (like music videos and such), I would download them, and when the CD came out, I would probably buy it as soon as getting to the store fit into my schedule. It's not when they get the money, it's just that they get the money.

I'm all for buying music but if allllll music stores sold out, and I couldn't even buy it online without waiting 3 weeks etc, I'll just download it. I'm very impatient and I'm dying to listen to their new material, so waiting an extra couple of weeks would be **** for me =P Of course I'll buy it later because I'm gonna have money put away for the album. I wish I had a friend who could burn me a copy, but it is usually I with the cds who burns the copy for them =]
