There are two points here: one, the guy in the second verse certainly appears to be suffering from a drug addiction...... "An addict he can't hold the reins the pain is worse cause his friends have it the same" true I guess it could be something else like cutting but it seems like they were meaning a drug addiction..... but its not a drug song as such cos the girl in the first verse seems to have some other problem...... still it doesn't really explain who is actually speaking in the chorus, or what the **** they're saying......
