I highly disagree. Back when Chester smoked like mad and was drinking a lot, his voice sounded ******* amazing.i think he just need to quit smoking....... he's a singer damned....he shouldn't smoke

yeah..but he is STILL doing that......he hasn't stoped...so..if he contiunues to do that...his voice will get worse and worse....

Hmmm.. apparently I'm the only person on the board that disagrees. I watched Live Earth and saw Linkin Park play and I thought they were good. Those of you knockin on Chester... maybe he doesn't sound like he did before but c'mon. Did you really think he was going to stay the same? I honestly thought he sounded great at Live Earth. I know it was some time ago but he sang great at Projekt Revolution '04 and I just think that his voice hasn't really changed that much since then.

I noticed that in WID on Kimmel and SNL. But I dunno. His voice is a bit flat in the new CD. I think Mike has gotten better and better as the years have passed.

Chester's throat wasn't operated on recently, that's BS. He got sick in 03 and 04 but that was quite a while ago. He recovered just fine and pwned after that.
He's just...not as good as he used to be is all lol

WID is live prolly Chaz's worst vocal performance... bout the other... well he might have not as much "power" as she used to but after all what he got through with his voice its no wonder to me... i mean i dont think screamin is good for it... lol

So what if he sucks at singing? He can't sing equaly from the firts album. It has been more than 7 years of hundreds of concerts... it's just lack of exercises, or he was less motivated to sing at that day..there are millions of reasons...

I don't think there is a doubt he doesn't sound as good. I think one problem is because we heard how good he sound on M2M. I for some reason think they EQed his voice quite a lot. Chester is just losing it maybe he is in a slump but I doubt it.
