Clubs?

Can we have a club section on LPF? cos it would be kool...almost like vampirefreaks.com.

and we can invite people to them.

But that would be alot of work, i guess you could just stick a club name on your sig like i have =)

yea i guess but then stupid people like n00bs would make up clubs that dont even have members but there would have to be rules and shit first like have at least 5 members or something to make a thread or at least something like that

well thats not very fair to the rest of us, if its elite only us blue people want to have clubs too

but the noobs with create clubs right away and yeah....i think its fair for the elite members to do so, because we simply...are elite.

Make it so only elites can create clubs, but anyone could join. That does sound good.

Here are some ideas:

 

-Make this clubs forum a sub forum under LPF Games.

-So that there aren't hundreds of clubs, how about a 100 post requirement to start a new club?

-Only elites can create clubs. So, if you're an non-elite member, simply look for an elite member that wants to start a club with you.

-Minimum of 5 people is required to start a club

That kind of sucks to those of us who aren't relatively new to the site or that relatively high in rank either. I agree you should have a minimum set of posts before starting a club and maybe have the club approved by a mod first just to make sure there aren't duplicities... but it still freaks me out a little. I know I'm only an average schmoo (not quite a noob anymore really) but what about the clubs already in existence? I know it's not worth much spit to anyone really but I enjoy my CoB time... is it about to be closed or something in the wake of these proposed changes *gasp!*

I believe the current clubs will just be moved to the new section (if it's created that is)
