Man, who knew this week would fly by!!

Tomorrow is my ACT testing, so I'll be gone all morning...-_-;

It's been hella hot in the "Armpit of America" so I've been in our pool and turning lovely shades of red. >_< But it looks more tan today. ^_^

That's it for update. Off to study.

Ja mata ne!

Ah I seeee, well at least you don't feel confined. Best of luck :D

Ohhh man, I took the ACT twice and i hated it. Ugh. I much prefer the SAT though both make me want to jump off a cliff.

Good luck! and bring a snack!!!

We start around 5/6 too. Depends on if you go to preschool. Preschool is like 4/5 years. Most people go to preschool. I didn't :0

It's not that hot here today. Yesterday was 90, today is 70. weird. Very windy though.

^^^ I didn't go to Preschool either. lol

And wait, we're aloud to take a snack? o_O Hmmm, I believe chewy runts are calling my name! XD

About how long is th ACT?

Oh yes. Take water too, but only use it when necessary, you wouldn't want to find your bladder exploding during the science portion.

There's 4 sections, English-45 minutes i think, Math-60 minutes, Reading-25 minutes I think, and Science-45 minutes. If you've signed up for the writing, i think that's an additional 25-30 minutes.

There's a break in between (a meager five minutes. And you can only drink and eat during that five minutes), so yeah, take a snack. Chewy runts (although delicious) prolly aren't the best thing to bring. At least take a piece of fruit or granola bar along with the runts, cause sugar gives you a fast high, then leaves you feeling crappy, so you need some healthy food to keep your mind running.

Wow, can you tell how much training I've been through?

Well, best of luck!

Thank you very much for the advise. ^_^

Yeah, I've signed on for writing. ^^;

They don't give a lot of time for the test. o_O *freaking out* At least there is a slight break. ^^;

Oh **** no. No time at all. And I like thinking slowly and thoroughly. The act just doesn't want you to do that. It's QUANTITY not Quality.... makes me mad. I don't think it's a fair representation of your knowledge. It's basically if you can take THEIR test in the time they require. Ugh. The science portion is the WORST. You have to read data, analyze charts, and answer wordy questions at a pace of like, two per minute. WHAT?? It's impossible.

Well no, not impossible, you need practice though. But it's silly. Sorry to stress you out, I'm just venting. I'm sure you'll do wonderful :D Just keep your eye on the clock!!

Yeah, you pretty much have to inhale your food on the five-min break.

The ACT wasn't that hard...^^; okay...math and Science had me going "Durrrrr o_O " but the rest was okay. ^_^

Other then that, it just sucked monkey *****. >_< I had to much time on the easy portions which meant thinking. lol

The worst part wasn't even the test, it was the fact I was the only MArion Harding High School student there. Everyone else was from the county. :confused:

ah that's why me and my friends tried to go together so we wouldn't be surrounded by Elk Grove peeps. lol.

Glad to hear it went well. I always do better on english and reading than math and science. always.

None of my friends took the test. Besides, OSUM decided they'd split everyone in alphabetical order, so even if they had, we wouldn't have been together. (I'm Prater, friends a re Townsend and Wilson. I was with Me - Rhi. o_O )

The math and science was insane! Like, half the **** I've never seen before in my life. :eek: (75% of the answers are guesses...)

lonely in there?
Not really seeing as we couldn't talk for most of the testing period. But as people were checking in, yes it was very lonely. (T_T)

“It rarely occurs to anyone to take “men” as the subject for a discussion. They are far too varied. But “women” is a theme constantly chosen both for protest and surprise. There may be much meaning in this, as perhaps the time has come for women to change in order that the balance between the masculine and the feminine may be better. Now may even be the point in time when thought, unless partnered by true feeling—feeling that is as trustworthy as clear thought—is seen as destructive.

But when we say “women,” whom do we mean? For women are usually described as someone would like them to be, or would like them not to be, but seldom as they are within themselves. The very word woman is equivocal, since it may mean someone from whom you expect untiring work, or someone utterly fluid and endlessly adaptable.

One thing is certain: a discussion such as this should not be entered unless there is acceptance of the fact that every man and woman is both masculine and feminine. This is true physically as well as psychologically, for we each carry a dual inheritance. We will only flounder in generalities unless it is agreed that our aim is to consider the masculine and feminine sides of the woman, and the feminine and masculine sides of the man.

It seems necessary to discuss men and women together, as they are in a reciprocal relationship, one being frequently measured by the other.”

- Hyde

That sounds like something Mr. Harr said in Diversity class. o_O

Though, Hyde writes good english, just has a hard time speaking it. 8P

I just realized, after a year and six months, that my little laptop here is capable of burning and ripping DVDs. :eek: Why?! Not that all my disk are gone!!! :'( And after my laptop crashed...and Kagen no Tsuki was lost forever! (only because I do not download much anymore.)

Anyways, after the ACT tetsing, I was sitting at Campus waiting for Mom to pick me up and realized how peaceful it was!

A nice breeze was blowing, the temp was perfect, and the fountain just gave a nice calm feeling. After the past few days, that feeling was much needed. :)

Now, I'm off to baby sit. ー_-

I feel pretty ****** today. -_-;

WWIII is going on between Mom and Kevin (step dad) and I really don't care.

The heat, though is cool out, is just enough to make me feel sick. The heat is one factor, there are a few others. :-!

So, instead of being here and ********, I'll check out some other threads and then go to sleep.
