System restore isn't the answer- as the one computer is only a couple months old, and it has done it since it was new, and another has the issue both before and after it was re-formatted.

Virus scan isn't it either. One is runnin McAffe, one Norton, and one AVG. and yeah, only one per computer.

I haven't had an issue tonight, so maybe turning the mousepad on the laptop took care of it, I read some other forums that think it is an issue with the microsoft intellimouse, but I seem to recall it happening with a non-MS mouse my grandmother got me...

So your using the same mouse on all three computers? I'm tiring to figure out the similarity here. That's not a normal problem

same type of mouse. I have 3 Microsoft Optical wired mouses- one for each computer. All usb driven, all plugged right into the computer. One is on USB1, and the other two are USB2.

but, I remember having the issue with a wireless mouse, and a cool racecar mouse (non-microsoft) my gramma bought me.

I have a brand new Dell Optical mouse at work I could try and see if that makes a difference...

and it just did it when I tried to click on "Quote" beneath Snaf's post. When I clicked the mouse button, it jumped the page down so that the mouse was midway through my previous comment...
