Don't all things have gravity though? I mean, the moon doesn't have "zero gravity." It just has a lot less gravity than Earth does. And I do think they would've had the technology to do it back then. There is even a lot of technology out today that could be used, but isn't. Like computer have been around for a while, but they have only recently become popular. I'm pretty sure we have landed on the moon.

First, go back to English class and learn proper context. You mean "reason", not "risen".
I am of the belief that they did not land on the moon, at least not at that time. In the 60's the amount of rocket fuel required to propel a space craft of that magnitude would be the reason it would never take off. See, at that time, rocket engine technology was not sophisticated enough to warrant a spacecraft that weighed thousands of pounds to break atmo. The sheer weight of the fuel would have not allowed it to lift off because it was too heavy.

The whole sequence of men "hopping" on the moon could be simulated in my backyard with any digital camera and a timer. Any footage of a man skipping can be slowed down and re-played to look like actual time space of normal motion.

Is it not like a zillion degrees below zero in space? Am I right to think that recording equipment would freeze before being useful?

The photographs of the moon display the index markers on the film in the forefront. They should be in the background or even not visible if they had not been altered.

Many of the "original" crew of the first moon landing have been "disappeared". When I say "disappeared" I mean killed by the government and no body was found. Could this be a government conspiracy to cover up the truth? NO ****!

Do you really think that if a planetoid of no gravity were the plains of a golfing game that the ***** would leave orbit, or never come down? I mean come on. What does a golf ball weigh? An ounce? And the government wants me to believe that you can sink a 400 foot shot in a meteor hole in zero gravity? The **** ball does not weigh enough to come back down. Something anyone that knows anything about space and relativity and travel knows, that in zero gravity, speed remains constant. So, if a ball is shot at a vector of 45 degrees upward...the speed remains constant, that ****** ball is NEVER coming back.

Leave it to the Americans to try and fool the world. Was it not them who also tried to convince the world that Iraq was the focal point of terrorism, when the confirmed terrorists are in Afghanistan? Do not tell me oil money has nothing to do with it.
ROFL!

First of all, I did a report on this moon landing for history class. The original crew was not 'killed off' by the government as you claim. That is pure 'I see JFK in a UFO" bull****.

Second of all, the moon has gravity. If it has enough gravitational force to influence tides on Earth, you can bet the thing can hang on to a GOLF BALL.

As for the index markers, good point. But, look at the point right above it about how recording could freeze in space. Maybe, uh, they built special cameras that wouldn't sucumb to the elements? And if these cameras and video feeds were made for the moon landing, you can bet they weren't your standard Polariod, right? So out goes the index markers.

And last, he doesn't need to go back to English class. It is called a typo, and we all do it, all the time.

And, honestly, nothing you typed was that impressive. Just the rants of another person looking at the facts and only accepting a few, so they won't have to admit they are wrong.

Yeah, what you said. :p

Well Azem needs to put his 2 cents before an argument starts and the thread gets closed. I personally think they didnt land wen they said they did. maybe month or years after but not exactly then. You must remmeber this happened when everyone was racing to get to the moon. So america probaly lied to get props or sumpthin of that matter. Im positive they've made it there now but just not exactly when they said they did.

If he was holding the camera, who was holding it when the first man on the moon landed on the deck?

And, why was there no stars in the background see as they were using a camera?

And, I think I read somewhere that there have been o trips back to the moon since then.

One thing I wonder about. That footage of Neil Armstrong first stepping on the moon and saying one small step for etc...Who was holding the camera?
i second that. and if buzz aldridge was holding a camera, then armstrong wasn't the first one to set foot on the moon. this doesn't make sense to me.

i haven't read all replies here, but the flag on the picture is moving. that's impossible on the moon.

also, i've read this about the US government and about the crew members and so on. i heard that the president at the time paid them to keep the fact that they never landed on the moon secret and that he had some staff member hunted down somewhere (after he fled from the us) and killed so he wouldn't tell. i believe that this might be true. but i don't have proof so until som1 brings proof i'm not totally sure.

Thanks to whoever gave that link http://batesmotel.8m.com/ . =) I wanted to google those pictures again and stuff but it's all there.

There was a documentary about this a couple years back about this. After I watched it I was definatly convinced that they didn't land on the moon o_0 Thought it was quite funny though. They mentioned the points such as the flag flapping about when there's no air or whatever in space. And the shadows are all in different angles etc. And no stars. Dunno, but my opinion is that they didn't land on the moon.

That's completely right for me. They needed to say "oh we land on the moon!" in front the world, and in front of the URSS, who was trying to reach the moon too.

IMO, they didn't.

So the responses to my question about who was holding the camera are a robot, Buzz Aldren or a satellite.

It couldn't have been Buzz cause he was the 2nd person to walk on the moon. It couldn't have been a satellite cause the only thing orbiting the moon was Michael in the other part of the spaceship.

A robot is what I always figured it was. But how did the robot get there? Was it part of the ship? Did they land a camera on the moon first just to get the money shot?

I've Googled this several times but I can never find an answer.

They landed a satillite on the moon to get the money shot...didn't you know that? And, ROFL, whoever said that this country never went back to the moon needs to brush up on thier history. We went back a good five times. Haven't you ever heard of Apollo 13, the botched MOON landing mission? *sighs*

People who say we didn't land on the moon only take a few facts and spin theories out of them, when really all the facts point to the logical conclusion that we have been there.

If you guys want a real conspiracy, talk about JFK or the Pentagon Attack on 9/11.

Was it just a camera? Did it do anything else? I find it really hard to believe that they could land the lunar lander so perfectly in front of a camera.

I can't find any documentation on it at all.
