I'm a true friend of capitalism.
Oh yes, capitolist. Picking at the bones of the consumer to get every scrap of profit.
33 billion dollars profit per quarter. Thats what the oil companies make on average. All profit. Imagine if the food manufacturers wanted the same profit margine. What if a loaf of bread cost $20?
People need gasoline. People need natural gas. Its a necessity. Our economy is about to get real ****** up if gas prices continue to skyrocket. Eggs will cost more, milk will cost more, just about everything will cost more. Just wait about 6 months and the cost will be handed down to every consumer. And all the while the crooks at the oil companies WILL mantain their 33 billion dollar per quarter profit.
And you wanna feed me this bullshit about gas prices not keeping up with inflation rates. If it did, it would cause the inflation rate to rise expedentialy until it hit the roof. Gas prices cant keep up with inflation without bringing the economy down hard.
What seems suspicious is the lack of competative pricing in the oil industry. Their is no competative pricing! Why not?
