Dreams and what they mean

TJ I hope not all dreams come true. My sister once had a nightmare that I was found dead in a bathtub. I will not shower without a phone and doubleedge knife in the bathroom with me now.

Trust me TJ that little boy was my sunshine; I would rather die than wish anything bad happen to him.

Did you consider you giving the warning to your brother was why he let the boy go on the visit? Let the child get away and try to avoid your prediction?

You said "a cast or bandaged" and that allows a very wide degree of things to fulfill the prophecy. And maybe you traded one for the other? Maybe the image was not clear because one set of actions would have led to a cast, the other set would be a bandage.......

I do believe in things like connections with loved ones through the spirit, even those who do not believe in *** can usually agree that our bodies are controlled by energy and these energies could find all sorts of ways to interact with other energies.

But fortune telling......I doubt that, but I leave room to consider that just about anything is possible.

Let's hope the shower thing is not real, I hope I never have to feel concerned to take a bath, it must be difficult for you.

You know ironically, I had forgotten about this but when I went home last Thanksgiving and was at her condo - she decided last minute to go to the store. I was in the shower and I begged her to wait til I got out and she was like "You'll be fine" - sure enough some *** was trying to break in and I heard it and got to the door in time to throw the chainlock on and grab a weapon, and I spoke loudly to let them know I was calling the cops. I think it was her ex-boyfriend but not sure. He, thank *** has since moved out of her condo.

TJ I also don't think all dreams are prophetic. Chi, Wez, Ali and Emkay might remember Phantoms' crazy dream way back when. Something about a bus, and Trademark got out and punched BCAR right in the face. I still laugh my *** off when I think about it. Trust me if those two ever got together they'd probably be laughing and sharing a beer

Ya, that is sort of what I was trying to say earlier, I believe some people can make connections of various degrees with each other and even possibly experience other things through their souls/body energy interating with other energy.

Na I think you can find logic in something poetic and vague like that,that you can read into it what would apply to yourself. The suggestive comments of mercury are accurate to my state of mined. It would be a different interpretation for someone else.

I once dreamt about BCAR's house, and some things that were going on in his life; and I thought I was pretty accurate about the description. You know B who hangs at The Jungle. Dreams can be surprisingly accurate.

My dreams about BCAR always wind up hot and sweaty. Mmmm mmm!

The other night I had a dream about New York. I was there alone and people kept asking me where certain places were and I kept replying, "I don't know. I've never been here before."

The next day I was emptying my suitcase and stuffed in the corner was an ATM receipt....from New York City.

I've had this suitcase since I graduated high school. My ex-husband must have used it on a business trip to New York many years ago.

It's really not a method of future telling, but what's in your subconscious mind and what that subconsciousness points to as a likely (or maybe just the hoped for?) outcome.
I do believe that some dreams are prophetic, though. There's usually a different feel to them and often they're the kind that make you say "WTF??" when you wake up.

One that stands out for me:

Way back when I had this weird dream about a kid I went to elementary school with. No reason to dream about him - I hadn't seen or thought of him in better than 15 years and we weren't buddies or anything, even back then. I have no recollection of the details of the dream, just that Randy was the prominent character in it. I woke up and thought "That's just weird."

I was at a concert a few nights (maybe a week?) later, helping out some radio friends by handing out bumper stickers after the concert, when this kid approached the gazebo we were working from and asked me if I was Kelly W. I about crapped my pants... it was Randy from 5th grade! Haven't seen him again since.

That's happened to me a few times in my life, too. Where I've dreamt or thought a lot about an old friend that I haven't seen in a while or lost touch with and then soon after we meet again
