"Evanescence is alive and well. John and Rocky were in Evanescence for four years and we shared some great times together playing live, but they were ready to move on and so we have parted ways. Evanescence is something I have loved and nurtured since I was fourteen, and I will continue to protect and fight for it as I always have. Terry, Tim and I are very excited to play
live with some amazing new musicians and we will rock harder than ever. Stay tuned for more news on that front. And don't worry about the tour, guys. Nothing will be cancelled and we will see you soon!"

Evanescence is a good band, they do alot to help people get through things, i would gladly see em LIVE if they came near were i lived...I dont see why people would hate Evanescence so flippin much...it aint right bro

Yea that's true, there's obviously more to it. But I doubt we're gonna actually get too much of the truth. They're going to be opposite opinions from Amy Lee's side and John's side.
Jesus, I hate how some people can act so moronic and stupid about something. So you don't like Evanescence... congratulations, chances are, a lot of people don't like you either. I don't honestly see the point in bashing something, just because you don't like the music they make... wow.. how childish.

its always sugary "we left on good terms"from the rest of the band, and always thundery from the jilted ones. i used to like evanesance, then i heard moody left...and it was like...things are just gonna go downhill from here to be honest, call me when your sobre had me for abit...then gone, the 2nd album was just....****.

The new album was what evanescence was meant to be about... It's just with Linkin Park they have grown up into a successful band...

i really hoped the 2nd album would be a grower, it just never really grew on me....sorry
but before hand, they were a good band, iono whats happened to em, i mean with all the members being kicked out/leaving...its just...odd, and the sounds are always different and you can replace who plays the music, but you replace the imprint theyve left, like Moody, the sound and vibe changed so rapidly on the 2nd album.
