Thanks to Tyler for suggesting this idea. ;)

Failscene will be opening a radio some time in the future, hopefully this month. I'm planning to create a brand new homepage for Failscene too or just put the radio player on the forum but I'm not sure. Vote in the poll please!

I'll also need your help to donate either by sms or paypal to help us fund the radio, it only costs ?1!

Thanks

We need a site, aswell as a forum to be honest. The radio player needs to go somewhere that is available to all, such as the header or footer, so that it can always be listened to. If you're against doing this, then just make a new homepage.

And the idea was no problem. ;D

So if we were to make a new homepage you want the radio to be on the homepage and integrated to the forum as well? We could do that if we get enough votes for the homepage.

I mean, what would we do with the site though? We're a general forum. Things would be much easier if we had a niche. It'd probably just be best to keep it to the forum.

I'd prefer it if the radio didn't appear on the forums, you should give users the option to display the radio on the forums or not. I always play my own music, and I don't always have a great bandwidth so adding the radio would make it harder for me to preview the forums :p

If there was a good DJ on that played good music then i wouldn't mind as mooch :)

But yeah, this sounds like an awesome idea! I'd be willing to do some DJing for you kids ;D

Uncy Matty show ;) XDXDXD

Theres only around 20 active members too, so adding a radio would be tough at the current time.

@Duke ***** ;D I rawk ;)

Even if there's 20 active members, thats 20 people viewing you can get a basic radio to have a max of 50 listeners... 20/50 is quite a lot of listeners to start out with XD

I know, but we need DJs and we want to be DJing round the clock, thanks to the ***** we call timezones.

Indeed, we should have some form of status on the forums saying wether the radio is online/offline then get an auto-DJ to connect when the radio doesn't have an external connection ;D

For the radio to be worthwhile, we want to be getting around a minimum of 10 listeners the whole day, to start off with that is.

CAUSE U R SPARTA DUKE XD

I can DJ quite a bit when I'm sat at home doing nothing, set up duel display and I'm sorted to control a radio for like 3 hour intervals XD
