I know that the are plenty of people that like rap rock tracks on this forum, once a genre full promise seems to have collapsed recently. But I was wondering what rap rock songs do u like the most and think others should check out. Personally im a fan of the old skool when rap/rock was a newer concept and actually had promise.

Tracks:
Run DMC & Aerosmith - Walk This Way
Cypress Hill & Sonic Youth - I Love You Mary Jane
Beastie Boys - Sabotage
Beastie Boys - Fight For Your Right To Party

What are yours?

Walk This Way is awesome

And a lot of Beastie Boys stuff is cool....

I also would say 99 Problems from Jay Z is pretty damn good

and who produced a lot of those songs?(even the Lil Jon one)

yeah...the man...Rick Rubin

Rap rock tracks...here are some that you should DEFINITLY listen too.

Freak On A Leash - Korn
Push Me Away - Linkin Park
Fat Lip - Sum41
Nobody Gets Out Alive (??) - Skindred
Bring The Noize - Public Enemy and Anthrax (colab.)
Walk This Way - Run DMC and Aerosmith (colab.)

I think the best bands in the genre are...
Korn (old stuff), Linkin Park and Rage Against the Machine.

Anthrax - I'm the man (1987)
Anthrax + Public enemy - Bring the noise (1991)
Rage Against the machine - Killing in the name (1992)
KoRn - Ball tongue (1994)
Limp Bizkit - Counterfeit (1997)
...

I prefer the unedited version myself, im not sure but it may only be on itunes

Yeah that is how I got it. The edited version doesn't even make sense if you listen to lyrics, but still is a badass song.
