Yeah slam Latin America, might as well, the US is responsible for it becoming a COMPLETE SHlTHOLE in the first place. People just don't want to admit it.

BS. Look at Mexico. Abundant natural resources and two gorgeous long coastlines. It's nobody's fault but their own that they spent too many years with violent revolts and infighting, instead of having a government with peacefull exchange of power. They could have put the energy and effort into advancing thier people and society.

And much of Central and South America followed the same ****** model as Mexico.

Don't blame America for the lack of advances that could have come from a civil society.

The reason why Latin American countries and other empoverished countries are the way they are is because of their corrupt, greedy governments. The people who have been in power for the majority of time recently have driven and kept the people and their country to the ground.

To fix that mess, the people in those countries have to rise up, unite, fight back and change that. WRONG.. America is the driving force behind these corrupt governments. These closed door deals for South American resources that these Plutocracy governments make only benefit the leaders. Like I said before, America just doesn't want to admit that this is the case. It's better to look at the problem in front of them and say "YEAH, **** THESE ILLEGALS INVADING OUR SPACE", when really, the problem is much bigger then that, and caused by America..

I blame America for feeding off of Mexico's resources at an unfair price, so much so, that the citizens have no choice but to fend for themselves elsewhere. I blame Mexico's government ( not the people) for slurping on the US's *******. .
Can't blame the people for something the very Conservative Mexican government does to oppress them.

You realize that we have plenty of oil ourselves. Possibly more than Canada and Mexico. Maybe we'd feel the need to go after it.

If anything can be said about the politicians, the oil companies grease the right a bit more then the left and it's only for tax cuts, not because it would be in any interest of the American people.
