Gas prices!!! PS. **** Bush!

President Bush keeps making us the same constant bullshit promises of lowering the gas price. He still doesn't have a clue of how to accomplish this.

Today, while fueling my Nissan, under the unleaded label I noticed "Gas priceses include tax", or some **** like that, and that ****ing got me pissed. The first step that asshole could take is removing the tax from the gas priceses to at least show us that he's trying.

That's all I have for now. I'll come back with more if I think of additional argument to this thread.

Taxation without representation? Do you even know what your saying? Who's not getting represented? Dude that was back when Briton was taxing America .

First of all, like Bush has anything to do with any state taxes.
And like he has the say in how much federal taxes we pay.
Second how do you think roads are built and maintained?

Now the Fed's do impose taxes on the oil companies which in turn trickles down to the consumer.

Most of the tax that is imposed on gas, just like cigarettes and alcohol is acutally a "state tax" not federal. That's why there is such a difference in gas prices depending on what state you are in.

If you were to totally remove gas tax, you would make the national deficit much more worse then it is now...the guvment would lose a lot of money, and the roads you drive your car on would end up being ****, and you would only have yourself to thank for it.
