Tonz;513883']ending=**** i woulda loved to have it ended with a LITTLE more gusto and less harry angst....but oh wells...what ws with the matrix reloaded rip off scene with ahrry and dumbledore? "am i dead or alive?" "oh ahrry' date=' you can chooe for urself"[/quote']
JK Rowling has said that she had the last few chapters written for years, around the time of the first couple of books. So it's not really a rip-off if she'd thought of it before the matrix did it.

ahhh well i DIDNT know that

even so...all i can picture is harry in sunglasses talking like neo and dumbledore that stupid architect dude explaining whats happening with the matrix...=/ itll make a good scene in the movie(like..in 5 years) if they dont overcook it, it wasnt too bad if you DONT picutre neo trying to understand what the architect was saying

Well, you have to keep in mind that this is a children's story so the ending can only be so great. It ended in a good manner. It's nothing anyone can complain about, but at the same time it was some what predicatble.

Yes she had the outline of the last few chapters and all the books, so she could have easily done some rejigging of it.

I'm sure JK Rowling was lying around and said you know what...let me just rip off the Matrix...its not like no one saw that movie anyways.

The great thing about this book, like Ref/Jake said is that there are so many scenes that set up perfectly for a movie. They're easy to visualize. Like the scene where it's Hogwarts verses the Death Eaters. And Harry is running to find the last Horcrux. All the action surrounding them just gives you that action packed chase scene we all know and love.

I wouldn't want to be Daniel Radcliffe filming Deathly Hallows....

No, I mean because of the strenuous work he'll have to do filming the first part of the movie.

haha, i lvoe the bit where fred and george(both lookin like harry), turnin to each other and saying..."we re identical" ahaha

well, yes the movies gonna have some kicker scenes, and some **** momentsl....cause remember, the majority of the book is ******* camping!...and camping for MONTHS...thas NOT exciting...may as well have called it Harry potter and the camping expirience! reading isnt bad...but for a movie? itd be like the LOTR following ******* frodo and sam around instead of going to helms deep!

i spose u hafta take the good with the bad

arent eh books a progression from childrens to late teens? even late teens have the unpredictable about it, im not complainging about the eiplogue, i was complaining how the duel with volde and harry ended anyways. i reckon a LITTLE more detail on what peoples lives are like now, not just harry, like...such and such got married, such and such became this and that...and so on, abit of it is let on...but yer, not enough, u dont know what happens to other characters like the majority of the weasleys, hagrid etc and yes we know harry si what he is but what does he do? does he have a job? whats become of him, did he go back to hogwarts to finish his 7th year? and such

darn i run the risk of spoilers, but yer, there really shoulda been a shock like...dumbledores death in book 6 or sirius's in book 5, i was thinking maybe a whoe raft of em would be sacked...but even then, the ones that did die were fairly significant, cause they were attached to harry.
