hey, watchit! my mom was a teacher. there is no way that teachers are dumb. my mom got a perfect on the SAT and had strait A's her whole school carreer. yes I admit that some teachers dont have a clue, but they arent just dumb.

I leave it up to my family to be strict and punish me and everything, not my dang school teacher. what I hate the most are teachers who get into your personal life and tell you to do stuff, etc. im the kind of guy that doesnt really give a **** about other peoples opinions of me, and Im the kid whos always saying "thats his problem, not mine, so I dont care".

like when my teacher tells me to cut my hair, omg why do they need to tell me that? theyre paid to teach, not to tell Hahninator to cut his hair -_- Its not like I care anyways.

but yeah Im kinda stuck up if you ask me...

yeah my english teacher compares the class room to a bus and is all like " every one get on the bus! looks like we lost a few people when the bus parked." it makes me want to slit her throat and cart her off the mental ward.

Most my college tutors are cool, with the exception of maybe 2, 1 of whom is on a power trip and thinks she's whiter then white. But yea, most the rest are pretty cool

Well, to tell the truth I think its sad most of you hate your teachers...really sad.

I have had plenty of teachers I've really liked. Some of them have even impacted my life. Specifically, my sophomore and senior English teachers have both changed my views on everything.

My sophomore teacher helped me to releaze that, despite what everyone (even the school) says, you shouldn't take life too seriously. He was an awesome dude.

My English teacher this year is just awesome...he's the reason I'm going into Journalism. If I end up half of what he is, I'll be happy with my life.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've had lots of good teachers...I think its a shame no else has. Really.

I guess it just depends on where you live. I live in a back-woods redneck town where the teachers are just utterly strict and expect the students to be perfect straight A students (but half the students are failing). I have a horrible school. Most of the teachers are women, and I've found that usually male teachers are nicer and let you have more fun.

its really the teachers fault that we hate her so much what im geting to is that its all about how you teach your students if you stop working them to the bone once and a wile you can be reveard as a nice teacher but if not you wont be respectid

I have to agree with BTH on this one. I live in a redneck town too but b4 I went to the local highschool I went to school in Maryland and it was alot nicer because it wasnt really redneck. but yeah the guy teachers let you have more fun thats like the yin and yan aspect of things. like in your house normally the mother's are like strict and do all the structured things while the dads do the fun stuff and spacious things.

I agree. Actually, I think it was the hardass teachers that I had that I liked the most. Especially my AP Calculus teacher; I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am now in Calc if it wasn't for his "break their spirits early, build it back up for the AP exam" attitude. My AP Calc class was the second class in a row under my teacher where every student took the AP exam, and every student passed, which is unheard of.

Essentially what I'm saying is...some of those ******** teachers you'll hate forever, but some of them you'll thank later on in life.
