Hey Josh, what would you say is the best off that playlist?

Hmm.. I used to be close minded, but I feel like I've opened up ALOT and I'm really interested in hearing some J-Rock, because I've been hearing about it lately on these boards.

What elements does it have? Is it basically rock music, with Japanese lyrics?

What is the best?

That's hard... Considering those are my favorite from my collection... Lol

As for elements, it's the same as English music.

As for lyrics, it's according. Some songs like Schwein no Isu, which has German in it. It's just according to the band, & their musical choice. Passion, the theme song for Kingdom Hearts II, is sung in Japanese, with some English lines in it.

No, I know Dir En Gray, Gackt, and all that jazz but they never really appealed to me. J-Rock is whack in general. Some of the classics are always nice but there really is nothing great coming out of the genre recently. It's almost as bad as the shota boys and girls who go on stage dancing and singing pop lyrics mixed with some English lines and bits.

Being Japanese myself, there's a lot more talent in hip-hop and turntablism when it comes to Japanese musicians. DJ Krush, Tatsuki, Kentaro, Blue Foundation, Mighty Crown, PE'Z, Hifana, the list goes on.

I'm probably the biggest (non-Asian) J-Rocker here. I am the biggest Wapanese on my side of town.

I listen to very little American music now-a-days.
