I checked out the special on John Lennon the other night, it is a good song, but I think A Perfect Circle's version has more beat to it. Plus a better filmclip.

is it on the song you're comparing the two?if yes then yes you're comparison is justified as you have a base you're comparing them on.if its just their music and their songs you're comparing,then thats just baseless as are very very different,musically.

as per the topic is concerned,havent heard john lennons imagine so yes .but imagine ; a perfect circle was nice.

APC's version is really good, it's one of the best covers I've heard.

But the original's also really good. And a cover has to be really really really good for me to consider it better, cause without the original there would of course be no cover...

The only difference between John lennon and APC's version of Imagine is there voice. I think John Lennon's voice give hte song for need for peace and apc's voice sounds like he is about to cry. Therefore, I think John Lennon's version is better and the song has more spark than APC's
