i agree, if FM wasnt out, everyone would be doing rock LP remixes. Its a shame that not many people have taken the challenge of mixing Rock rather then Hip Hop, but hey, the album is still great so far.The only ONE thing i have to moan about so far is the complete lack of rock based lp tracks!!!!!!!!!!
Guess everyones still caught up in the FM hype...........
yup, i know how hard it is, currently me and a friend are working on a remix which hopefully will work out and we can release it at a later date :thumbsup:Do you know how hard it is to remix a LP track and make it song good...anyone can remix an lp track anyone can but that doesnt mean it wont sound good....for something like that u need agent lol
yeah, sadly the reanimation rips are the closest we will ever get.i mean if we had more accapellas life would be easier
Saying the only reasson the are hip hop remixes is that Fort Minor came out isn't thought out. As far as I know Me' date=' Wakka, Kuroh and Azem are deeply into hip hop and it's just the way Hip Hop is easier to mix then rock as thats where the whole concept of the remix came from, hip hop.[/quote']
Fair enough, I can understand thats ur style.
Just a shame we didnt have more LP rock sortta stuff.
Yeah I'd definatly agree with you there. Since I play guitar I know thats its very hard to remix a rock song. Hip Hop usually uses the same beat throughout the song, with only slight variaitons, so it's easy to mix it up. Where as with rock the guitar parts can have up to 16 beats a measure, and then 6 the next. Not very consistant at all. You have to have the right set up in order to get a good remix on a rock song. Otherwise it will just end up sounding horrible. Not to mention most guitar leads are improv. So that only adds to the difficulty of trying to remix the song.It's not just that. I mean, look at the vinyl that comes out from Linkin Park. The only one was a hip-hop song, High Voltage. Only hip-hop beats and acapellas are released from LP. En The End, Numb/Encore, Forgotten instrumental by alchemist, etc. These songs were meant to be mixed.
It's hard mixing rock on cue because chances are, the songs your mixing will not have the same pitch in guitar and will have different measures in drumming. Most songs will just be 4/4 but alot of rock songs will have 8 beats in a measure.
Not saying it's true, but there are people who think I am better than Agent.for something like that u need agent lol
Common sense... not music theory. Sounds so easy, doesn't it? I've done songs like so but they needed to be mended and parts had to be lengthened to match the chorus/bridge parts. And will you please read. I said ON CUE, as in LIVE DJ. And even if you had the beats matched on a computer like the one you use to do all your remixes, you have to take in account the transposition of pitches from the guitars..How is it hard to mix something that's in 4/4 with something that's in 8/4?
If it's in triple meter, or other Odd meter like, 7/8, or, 10/8 which is 5/4, then, it won't mix very well.
In ENGLISH.... Papercut (75 BPM) would mix well with my Morning after Instrumental (140 BPM), because 75 is about equal to half as fast as Morning After. And if you double Metred it (2 beats to every one beat) then they'd be about the same tempo. From the Inside would mix with Red to Black, but neither one of those will mix with One Step Closer.
[/theory 101}
I'd be cool if you were trying to correct me or something, but I don't tolerate arrogance nor lies.Excuse me? ... there are people who think I am better than Agent.
And since Agent doesn't remix anymore..... That makes me the new King.
I think u just load it onto the screens straight after loading the other audio file then u will be set :thumbsup:just one question...is there any way to put vocals over a beat using goldwave?
