Did anyone hear about the supposed Nazi plot to assinate him?

Also, i was watching the Democratic convention in Denver!! gosh! its so lively, it makes our party conferences look ever so dull!! Aparently, in hotels in Denver they have been printing off Obama's speeches and leavin in the hotel room. i dont know if it true but if it is its really cool!!

Ah, already there has been a plot to assinate him?
My theory is slowly unravelling.

tbh i was more interested in the aparent plot to assiniate Gordon Brown! :p

aparently due to hurricane Gustev and few speakers have cancelled making an appearence at the Repulican Convention! muhaha

Im very interested in who McCain choose as his running mate, this Sarah Palin woman from Alaska. Shes pro-death penalty, anti-abortion, big time NRA member, anti-same sex marriage and believes that creationism should be taught in schools. But aparently today shes been forced to admit that her 17 year old daughter is 5 months pregnant! weee scandal! :p

Now see, finally a 'normal' person is stepping up! Regardless the scandal, she does sound intriguing! It's a reallife daytime soap - in the White House!

Lol, fat chance. I won't quit LPF because it's not my country, but I wonder how Rudd and Obama/McCain will get on.

The same way every other polly gets on, fake smiles for the cameras and polite handshakes, and that's about it, if we're lucky ;) Let's not repeat the Howard & Bush affair of the past, that's just humiliating on a national level. Every time I saw them on TV I'd be like 'Jesus Johnny, pick your tongue up off the ground and grow some balls would you? You're embarrassing yourself!' Christ...

But personally, from what I've heard, I like Obama. Okay I like the Obama that's all over the news. I sincerely hope those behind the scenes don't corrupt a good idea, they probably will though - but at least the man has some charisma, look at his predecessors, can't fault him for that :eek:k:

Rudd will take Obama to Australian strip clubs most probably and go drinking tax-free out on the town for the night.
8P That made me laugh. To be brutally honest I would not be surprised. Kevy looks like a simpleton but he aint, that's for sure... Let's hope the Intercontinental relations between the US and us (haha) stays positive, cause I reckon Obama, at least I'd like to hope so, could be a good influence on Ruddy if the twirp sits up and pays attention to the right people - for once. Puppet.

Rudd isn't a twirp. Pete's gonna be insulted. Hahaha.
I know, my brother and I will have heated discussions about this over the (virtual) table at Christmas time, I can see it now! XD But naw as much as I bag Ruddy I still have more faith in him than I do Howard. As painful as it is at the mo I'm more inclined to give Kev more of a chance to redeem himself than the one that was in power before him. Maybe he can make things better again, I hope so, damnit...

btw McCain was criticizing Obama on having no experience but she picked Palin as VP who has as much experience as me which is 0 lool....also i dunno if anyone heard on fox news where that one reporter was like "she DOES HAVE foreign policy experience coz shes rite up there in Alaska next to Russia" if thats how it goes i dunno the mayor of San Diego must have great foreign policy experience...hey Key West is really close to Cuba the mayor of Key West must know a lot about Cuban government...Fox is a mess

Wow, a lot of Obama supporters here. I voted McCain. I can never vote for a president that is for killing babies! Oh also, Obama wants to raise taxes even more. I don't know about you all, but I already pay 9% taxes where I live, and that is enough.

Obama is a socialist.
McCain ain't much better.
But a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. *sigh*....McCain. He is pro-life, won't take crap from Russia, and picked someone not yet corrupted by Washington as a running mate.

I dont get ppl saying how Obama is a communist and wont do the right thing for the country...just cause MCain served in the army doesnt mean that he knows whats politically best for the nation..Obama seems more of a person to me who will when making a decision think through whats the best choice while McCain will follow the Republican/Bush ideas which ****ed up the USA in the last 8 years

I know, what a joke. Fox is crap, i only watched it once in the states just so i could say that ive seen it so that i can be justified in my whinging about it! :p

I really dont like Sarah Palin. They did a great Politcartoon about her in the Times (yack) today. It showed McCain holding a bleeding arm whilst Palin held a gun and smiled. He states something a long the lines of her shooting a whole in the campaign which is completely true.
I was reading the Independent yesterday and they had interviewed people from the states about her. This one woman who was a stanch Republican and shes stated that if McCain elected her due to gender politics then its failed because the women who were supported hiliary due to those gender politics arnt going to be sway by Palin because shes just too right wing where as those hiliary supporters are more likely to lean to the left.

v interesting. Ive been following this election so closely.

0? Lawl.

Do some more reading on Palin, please.

Oh, and btw, no one said you had to have years and years of political experience in Washington to lead our country. In fact, I find years and years of sitting with those muckheads a negative quality.

Many great presidents, like Ronald Reagen, were accused of 'not having enough REAL experience'.

This is what my friend said about the election which kinda amused me and yes I have to share it:
"If you like white chocolate > vote McCain
If you like dark chocolate > vote Obama
I like dark chocolate better so I'm voting Obama."

It's always nice to see Americans making wise choices based on their apetite.
