They do, Linkin park know how much the fans support them, think about the video music awards Evanescence was in the lead then Linkin Park just shot right up! i think there are m&g opportunities for all countriesI have held of from joining because I've heard so much bad stuff about it... I really want to join but then again I don't want to waist money for nothing. Can anyone tell me if u get meet and greet opportunities other then the US / UK on the lpu? for instance Australia?

I was part of the LPU last year and I think I posted like once on their forums..it wasnt worth it besides geting the package thing with shirt cd ect..

i'm not going to dowload the album..and i don't want to hear any of the new songs(except what i've done) until May 15...... i'm going to but it...and then listen to it....

in my opinion its all bullshit what mike said..they are just afraid of that those who already downloaded the album wont buy it anymore
if he was really "excited" to us their ART he wouldnt care about that aspect WHEN we get to hear it
he would care THAT we hear it all!!!...
and besides its much better to read the book about the songs and see the vids if u already know the songs for example on lptv like "hey there..they are recording no more sorrow"

I don't think it's "bullshit" I think it was his honest opinion about the whole thing, Because I don't think Mike would just say all that **** for nothing.. he was like in 1 interview saying... If this new album comes down to be a big hit or not we will still have pride in our music

Mike is such a great person. It's the understanding that he has for his fans that many other artists don't have. I am not going to listen to the leak, nor read any reviews or anything like that (maybe later lol).
I have the patience to wait for 9 more ******* days.
P.S. for those who think that Mike said this out of the band's commercial purposes, I can tell you that one reason why Linkin Park
is so respected by their fans is that they AREN'T like that. LP takes pride in what they do, and it's not about buying the album. Even if you download the leak, they will appreciate it to an extent. It's about the art that they create, and whether or not people would appreciate it. I think most of us should appreciate the fact that they're being cool about it. But then this is mainly why people would want to support them by buying their album.

I've been there since 4.0 and it's the worst place ever. I think the LPMB is actually worse.
There are so many ******* n00bs and then those who aren't n00bs are mean as ******* **** and hate like mad. Noone has any respect and I've never heard of any fanclub that hates a CD from their favorite band so much. Jesus christ.
The LPU is truly the worst place on the internet for LP.
