Mods Wat Do You Think Of This

Ok I have this idea that could work and be fun at the same time....just wanted to know if i should do it.

 

Basically each person over 100 posts can become a keeper of one LP members possession....for example if i was to organise it i would become keeper of Chesters Voice and someone else could be keeper if Joe's turn-tables etc...

 

In order to keep track of the keepers (maybe we could come up with a better name) I would place the user and the possession in my sig.

 

I was also thinking that we could 6 people (maybe call them Masters or something) that would each look after the possessions of each member....example: i would list all keepers of Chester's things, you would list Mikes (or whoever u want) and so on.

 

I think ill have to run it by the mods and stuff, but i was also hoping that if they liked it, we could get some one like salmanp or sum one to do special Master tags (like minature sigs) that we put below our username or in our sig, so if that was allowed....there would be some designing issues.

 

Of course it's still a working process though and prob wont be up for a while but thought it might be a fun project.

 

Got any suggestions....do u think its worth a try???

lol,, did you just copy and paste the PM he sent you? cuz that's the same as what i got. anyways, i think the post count should be way more than 100, maybe 1000, but that really limits it, even i couldn't do it. but yeah, idk, details really need to be worked out.

i truly don't think this topic should even exist.. chester chaz... why did you make this? hP sent us the stuff in a PM to ask *our* opinions, which is why we PMd him. if he wanted everyone to know about it,, he would have posted the subject already. and if you want to talk to a mod, or ATLien.. pm them.. don't make a public topic for it.

I agree with that also,cuz ppl will try 2 do pointless threads just to get more quantity of posts.

It sounds really fun. But there's gotta be more to it for it to do good to the boards. The whole spamming thing might increase.

I'm happy with what we have now. Our ranking system is clear, simple, and to the point. I also like what we do now because more emphasis is placed on post quality over post quantity...which in simple language means it kills spam.

Btw Chester_Chaz, if this HP's idea, then it is also his right to make it public. he should be the one making threads for it.

thirdly i would have liked to have thought about it a tad more and made it more precise and thought about wat things could have been a problem and so on...ie spamming before it was announced on here.

5thly it was not meant to be a ranking system....just thought that it would make the forums a tad funnier and personal, but i understand you suggestions.

 

6thly its not as hard as people think, yes maybe post limit should be higher (but then i cant be in it LMAO).

 

7thly I would try to explain it in simpler terms but after these responses i have felt that too many people have dissed (not meant to be mean) it and it should no longer go ahead....i will still keep working on it for my own sake...but you guys can decide if u want it or not....once again its just for fun.
