Chapter 2-3 the dawns early light part 1
"Yeah I'm Karasagi. I was told that I would supply you with this."
He said taking a rolled up piece of paper from a pocket inside of his trench coat. Azem and patrick took the paper and unrolled it. I peered over their shoulders on the tip of my toes. ok ok so I was actually that short.
"The places were you will be able to find sanctuary are marked in green. the sentry's areas are marked in blue. Doors are in red and secret passages are in black."
Karasagi explained. He then continued.
"There are five places marked in blue, there you will meet my brothers Mark, Mac, Mustang, Alex, and Cory. They will supply you with refreshing ammo and food and rest."
Karasagi said. The wind kicked up a fierocious storm of dust and leaves. We raised our arms to shield them from the dust. Karasagi and his wolf vanished.
"That was strange."
Nathan remarked. Azem and I nodded.
"ok assuming that this map is right, we'll want to split up into two squads. Nathan, you're going to take the first squad through the south east and I will take the second squad through the north. Azem, CJ, Phi, you guys are comming with me. Bessie, eli, nathan and patrick, call us on the radio if anything comes up."
Vash said. We nodded, there wasnt too much to be misunderstood. we split into the two groups as we reached a fork in the path. It had to have been late in the morning, but the mist on the ground hadn't cleared up and the sky stayed a yellowish brown. Azem held up a hand as he took up a position behind a fallen log. He motioned for us to do the same.
"Look, bear traps and trip wires. there are explosives in the trees."
He said in a hushed voice while he pointed. we noticed that the trip wires were attatched to some red blasting gel on the trees. Vash looked through his binoculars. he pulled all of us down. a pair of what looked like villagers passed by us with out a seccond glance.
"Try to stay inconspicuous."
He said as they went out of ear shot. We nodded. Only then did I realize that my heart was pounding hard and I had started to sweat. This place gave me the creeps. It stank of evil and demons.
