**Ten minutes later**
My father walked up to the house of my family, Mel behind him, and me at the end. I didn’t really want to go back to the family. Chester knocked on the door, waiting for somebody to open the door. After what seemed to be a lifetime, somebody opened the door to the house at long last. It was Vi, and he opened it with a big smile, “Well, look what the cat dragged in?” he said grinning. Chester laughed as he walked in with Mel and me trailing behind him. I held my head high, showing no signs of regret for what I did, and I had a feeling that Rob was about to yell at me some more. I walked into the living room and Vi closed the door behind me, still having the same grin on his face. My mum was sitting at the kitchen table and looked up as soon as the door closed. When she looked up, she was sad, but when she saw whom it was, her face held a smile. “Fox, Mel! You are all right! I was so worried!!!” she came and hugged us both, but I didn’t want her to. I still despised any physical contact with people whom bug me. I wriggled my way out of my mothers grasp and backed away, moving to my fathers’ side. “Mum, can I live with dad sometimes? Then I’ll come back here and live. Can I mum? Please?” I asked softly. Rav looked at Chester and me in shock. “Well hun, I don’t know. Maybe if we talk about it, we can work something out. But why? Why now?” I looked up and saw my father stare at the one whom raised me. Rob looked as if he didn’t care. “Babe,” he said. “I’ll explain it later alright? It’s a long story. Fox, for now, you’ll live here and can go and visit Chaz whenever you want. How’s that?” I nodded my head. I telepathically told my dad to cheer things up a bit. He agreed to it and said out loud, “Hey everyone! How about a BBQ? I’ll cook!” Vi spoke up this time, “This late at night? What are you nuts?” Chester laughed wickedly, “Why yes I am. Come on everyone! To the back yard!!!” and with that we all went to the back yard and Chester started to cook steaks, hamburgers, and hot dogs. Mel and I were playing around the trees. I looked around, picked up a stick, and threw it. “FETCH!” I screamed, and Mel couldn’t help herself and went in search on the stick.
