Renowned neurologist and writer Oliver Sacks, who explored the mysteries of the human brain in a series of best-selling books, died Sunday at age 82. "Curious, cultured, caring, in his person Sacks justifies the medical profession and, one is tempted to say, the human race," reviewer Peter Kramer wrote in the Washington Post.
