Mission 4: Mike's relaxation (not)

The bus was quiet. a little too quiet to Mike's taste. Even Rob's usual snores were absent. The bus turned left, then there was the instictive sound of everyone in the bunks turning inward to avoid falling out. SNAP! Mike jumped backwards narrowly avoiding an encounter with a mouse trap and fell out of his bunk. there was groaning as the other guys fell out of their bunks, being mised by the mouse traps. There was silent laughter as Joe, Chester, and Mike rubbed their backsides trying to get the fly paper off. Rob poked his head out of his bunk.

"What the **** happened to you?"

He asked. Mike gave a yelp in pain as Chester yanked the fly paper off of Mike's bare back.

"Umm let's see, Back waxing with fly paper, the guitarest, the bassist and the crazy cousin aka your girlfriend."

Mike winced as Joe jerked off the fly paper from chester's legs. Rob couldn't help but chuckel.

Mike gingerly rubbed his backside as they stepped off the bus. They started walkinbg towards a dennys that was near the arena they would be playing in with good charlotte. Melissa made them a little slow considering that she had broke her leg in a freak quarter pipe accident while skateboarding. You see Mike had helped her tighten her trucks before skating, suddenly they broke off. Mike found a slit in the trucks where they had broken off and finger prints that wern't his or Melissas. She was wearing a pair of Chester's Black Dickies shorts since she didn't have any and shorts were easier to get around in when you have a cast. It was a good thing that Chester practically brought a closet with him. The shorts were really big on her which was really weird considering how skinny chester was. Joe was even kind enough to trade bunks with her so she'd be on the bottom and it'd be easier to get out.

"Hey Melissa guess what today is...."

Mike said all mysteriously. The rest of the guys started laughing.

"Ummm July 9 th?"

She said as she slid on the outside of the booth. The booth was rather small. it only sat six people so poor Rob was left sitting on the end in a chair. He allowed Melissa to prop her broken leg on his. so here's how they were sitting in the over crowded booth. Starting with Rob it was Rob, Melissa, Brad, Chester, Phoenix, Joe, and Mike.

"Right. And what happens on July ninth?"

Mike asked like he was playing game show host.

"My birthday?"

"YES! finally she got it!"

Mike said as he almost starteled the little kid behinde him. Joe spilled chocolate milk on his white shirt. That's why Melissa was glad to be wearing a black Viva La Bam hoodie and one of Rob's hats that he gave her. nothing would show up on black except for mustard. They ordered their food. The waitress gave them a smile that said 'hey-i-know-who-you-are'

"Just wait till tonight. your gonna have so much fun."

Chester said with a really huge grin. Melissa groaned. When Chester said fun it normally ment there would be drinking and lots of booze and someone would end up with a hangover.

"Robbles is a nice pillow."

she said snuggeling her head into his shoulder. The rest of the guys laughed as rob blushed. Mike frowned. When their food arrived, they ate very fast. They had an interview in about a half an hour. Melissa would go with them as usuaul, but she would also sit with the body gaurds.

Of course as usuaul the interview was borrrrrring. Melissa did manage to catch some parts of the interview that she found interesting. like when Rob was asked if he and her were dating, he said unofficialy. Or the story behinde the quarter pipe incident. Or Chester doing an entire show through the roof of a port-o-potty. her favorite part was when the dj asked the band why they never preformed the song 'my december' on their tours. She loved that song.

"Well Mike how does it feel to constantly have a teenager on your hands?"

"It's alright, She's always playing pranks with someone or getting into something. She’s like all of us all rolled into one person. She has chaz’s potty mouth, Phoenix’s videogame skills, my good looks, so its all really good.”
