Wow, so its finally here after all these years... this is awesome.

I've been one of the people who have denied the existence cause there was no solid proof of it ever existing that someone could show me.

Looks I have been proven wrong, and I couldn't be happier.

I'll take what nkramar said to heart, and just thank the band for making great music... even when it was still in its demo stages, lol.

Now we just have to wonder about the other 3 mixes! ;)
i think the recordings are always the same so they just played with some preferences

like loudness...its just a different mix...i think they did 4 mixes and chosen the best one and this becmae THE osc we all know...

and if this statement above is right...i dont see plaster as a demo anymore..its like a remix or something else...i dont want critisize nkramar..i mean this guy is awesome...but u can hear in the other demos that there are different recordings for exmaple crawling, untitled or points..where the text is different too...

and this is what i like to hear in a demo..but this is only my opinion...

The hype was too much. It got people expecting something similar to the other HT demos, and all we got was something that was really not that different from the mastered track.

I don't know what I was excited for.

It's not like they'd been working this song out over and over over the past 4 or 5 years like Points of Authority or Forgotten, or Esaul, or By Myself, or Crawling, or In the End..... this song was written DURING the recording process of Hybrid Theory, if I'm not mistaken.... so they technically didn't have years and years to put out demos.... you know what I mean? So it makes sense that it wasn't very different.

It's great that we have it now... it almost completes the collection, but its only impressive on paper. We've been looking for it for ages, so it's a big deal simply from the nature of the beast.... but as far as it being a 'great demo' I don't think it is. It's just, a demo... it's not a completely different monster like Esaul was to Place for my Head.

So, I'll just say thank you to Nick for finally getting ahold of this thing. Really. And thanks to whoever decided to do a joint release (Mark?). It's not that different, but, it didn't need to be... I listened to it, and I enjoyed it. I probably won't listen to it again, but it'll definitely join my collection where ever it happens to go.

*agrees with hahn* what is wrong with you guys!?!? like what i said earlier, SO WHAT if it's similar? so what if the lyrics are the same? it's another demo which, if it wasn't for nkramar and crew you would NEVER have. gain some perspective to what these guys have given us all. remix indeed... unbelieveable lol

The hype was too much. It got people expecting something similar to the other HT demos, and all we got was something that was really not that different from the mastered track.
LP Fuse already posted this when they started to build that hype

"Monday's release will be huge for some and ignored by others"

After reading that people should've known already that it's not gonna be like the other HT demos.
