Meaning: Siberian-American. That's not native either, when meaning
indigeneous.

There are no native Americans in the sense of indigenous. Humans are
not indigeneous to the new world.

Definition of Indigenous: "Originating from where it is found",
you cannot re-define the meaning of the word.

Then you'd better learn to read the definition, because he didn't.

"American Indians" trekked from Siberia before the Bering Bridge sank
~40,000 years ago, bringing High Paleolithic techniques and
horticulture with them.
"Central American Indians" were maritime Atlantic colonists before
~8500 BC (when the **** hit the fan off South Carolina, the resulting
tectonics causing Atlantis to sink among other nasties). They
brought bronze techniques and hydroponic agriculture, but had to
import the bronze. When they lost Atlantis, they reverted to Low
Paleolithic techniques using obsidian in the want even of flint. At
least five attempts were made to revive the agriculture and the
cities it supported, but the latest had failed by 900-1300 AD
variously, long before the Spanish arrived.

Isolated by the Mexican Desert, both groups persisted without
interchange in their respective techniques until as late as 1920.
(Pima irrigation is independent in origin and far more recent than
the Atlantic.)
