Yes.....share a song and tell us what you think of it. And then everybody else says what they think of it after a listen or two (or more if necessary).

Cool..........I'll start first.

Bloc Party - "Compliments"

Good headphones song. I'm particularly drawn to this song as of late because it real resembles the kind of songs I'm making with my Schecter guitar, DD-6 delay pedal, Fruityloops, and Reason. For the most part this song is different than most of the rest of the songs on "Silent Alarm" because the drums and guitar arent as fast and danceable. It's very atmospheric. The album comes out in Feb 2005. Good stuff.

I can't wait for Mogwai to remix this.....it'll be a sweet collaboration. Mogwai should also be coming out with a new album in 2005. Can't wait.

The singing is actually great IMO. What do you want? A screaming bafoon or a cliched alt grunge singer for this type of song? I think the black guy helps with the singing on this song. You can clearly hear both guys singing at the same time. I love that. I'm a real sucker for songs that have somebody sing and all the while underneath the singing you hear somebody else speaking the same words. The vocals are quite unique and really blend beautifully with the song's crystallizing effect.
