Ah. Slipknot is back with vengeance. :] I'm so happy to see them back. Psychosocial is a very good song and I cant get it out of my head. Sure it isnt like their old stuff but who cares its good. :] I have tickets for their aug 15 show :]

I must confess I know OF them but don't really know them, I mean know of any song of theirs that I can hear and immediately recognise as being Slipknot. Having said that I'm going to a concert of theirs in October (what like 2 months away or something) just for the **** of it, really they're with Machine Head so that at least I know. Sort of. What can I say, it's purely because I can *shrugs* Should be a good show though...

The only Slipknot song I've heard was the one on Guitar Hero III, but it rocked. Are the others just as cool?

^ No idea. Used to listen to them at the restuarant where I used to work thanks to the head chef's love of them (I'm actually going to see all these bands with her and her brother) so she's far more qualified to answer that question than me. As I said, wouldn't know a Slipknot song if I fell over it... Should soon enough though :D

Quite a lot of them are yeah. The album they released in 2004 (Subliminal Verses Vol. 3) is basically sheer brillience. The one they released in 2001 (?) (Iowa) was very a heavy album with lots of anger in it. Their first one they released in 1999 (Self titled - Slipknot) was a very powerful album that showed that the band had vast amounts of pent up anger inside them and they released it in a very violent way. Personally my favs at the moment are Virus of Life (Vol. 3) and Phycosocial (new album).

I also like the new song...and it's a possibility I'm going to their show (with Machine Head and Children of Bodom) in November in Milano, Italy...I'll probably go...don't want to miss that out...should be awesome!
