Okay so I guess that in the story there wasn't really any reference to that, it's just that Rowling pops out of nowhere and puts the gay title on Dumbledore.

wtf.. I mean okay if you're gonna make a character gay, make him gay IN THE BOOK. Don't come out and say some random thing about your character when there's NOTHING in there that suggests that. Why would she just add this perspective to Dumbledore just like that?
