The only thing that comes to mind for me is death. Dosen't bother me thinking about as much as it used to. I guess the meds are workin.

No... I don't. I say a few words with a regional slant, but there's no funny accent that identifies me as a former southeast Michiganian. If I had grown up a couple hours North, I would have a funny accent. If I grew up 20 minutes east, I'd be Canadian and would definitely have a funny accent.
Her accent is adorable, as is emkay's.

Mine, on the other hand, is horrifying.

So Emy does have an accent! I'm a sucker for a strong accent. I like the east cost accents too.

Em defintely sounds Canadian, but that's not a strong accent, imo.

I only notice it on a few words: sorry & about are the ones I notice most. And dollar.

I do not have an accent! Y'all do...but not me. Actually Ali's and Merc's are very subtle.

Saree, doller, and aboot...are NORMAL pronunciations!

She's got a lovely voice and has a distinctly Canadian flair to her style of speaking. I could listen to her forever.

Merc also has a great voice and has just enough of that Michigan accent to keep things interesting...lol.

Right...it's not super strong, but it is distinct. :)

I think most women fear ending up with someone like you.
Okay, now that was a good one...see I can laugh at myself, lol.

I used to have a very southern accent but it is mostly gone now unless I drink a lot and that does not happen very much these days.

My southern accent is fully functional with heaping helping of the old south's Victorian-styled vocabulary and folklore.

'Tis true. RO has a charming voice and tells epic tales weaved with insightfulness and old style tomfoolery. I have never heard "Lord, have mercy" uttered with such Southern grace and dignity. Outstanding conversationalist.

eddo is another great person to visit with. Wonderful voice and super witty! His giggle is angelic and he has made me "Uff-da!" on more than one occasion.

Em, Merc, RO and eddo - four **** fine people who I enjoy visiting with and would love to meet one day. :)

Sexy.. Does he sound anything like Matthew McConaughey? I never really cared for him or his movies, but heard him talk on Jimmy Kimmel the other day and man, he sounded sexy! Now THAT's a Southern accent I don't mind at all.... I can't stand the hick kind, but that one, I likes...
