well if ur gonna do a cover,regardless of what genre, it hasta be a good cover, doesnt amtter if u cover hip-hop/pop or w.e, just dont do it like MCR-FOB do some really good covers of RnB tracks purely because Patrick is a decent singer and they dont **** around with a song

lol half of this site knows almost nothing about rap.
Deffo, its like rap is **** in their minds.... thats set in stone.

Aesop Rock and El-P both made brilliant albums last year, but nobody cares cause its like totally spoken word innit blood

There's nothing wrong with rap.

I find something wrong with stealing lyrics, not having great flow, and making a very generic beat in the one program that pretty much EVERYONE has, while using the presets and defaults. And settling for lyrics about *********** on a prostitutes head.

And then the mainstream public is dumb enough to accept that **** as real music. That's what ****** me off.
