Aw no it was far too comical at times, it was a very good film but not one of the best films ever as most people are making it out to be. It was just the best BLOCKBUSTER we have had in ages but I think even Wall-E tops it as a movie (though its like comparing butter to jam). I just didn't warm to the Batman charecter at all I had no real emotion for him.
to me it's also not the best movie of the year...

I think in terms of "superhero/comic" movies, Iron Man and Hancock have been a lot better.

It's a great Batman movie though....probably the best they made so far...

Hancock was a joke. It was a great premise and Will Smith was wasted talent.

Iron Man was great but it doesn't hold **** against the Dark Knight. The Dark Knight is full of depth..almost every character has an obstacle of somesort even the less important one...every character for the exception scarecrow deserved their screen time. Whether it be the people on the boats, the joker, the russian and sal maroni, everyone had a reason and a story to tell.

Iron man was good but it was just a popcorn flick that was barely treading moral waters...there was depth but no where near Batman...

lol and wallE compared to the darkknight just isnt a fair comparison

I agree, the whole second half of Hancock was all WTF? for me. It indeed had promise, but the plot was just too weird. As far as ironman, yup pretty solid movie, but like you said it had nothing special that made it stand out. Batman takes top movie of the year easily... maybe not best of all time, but it is up there.

I only think they could have cut The Dark Knight 20 minutes shorter

not saying that it's a bad movie though

I'm barely satisfied with any kind of movie

the ending was abit underdone...prolly coulda saved it up for another movie, but in a way it ties everything up for now

hancock was good as a story, though too many holes...hopefully theres a prequel or something, it certainly had good promise

Why hasn't he told us about how some CD full of random noises is better than Linkin Park then? We all know it's just a matter of time if that is the real Stenners!
