Since we be talkin' race at the mo I can say I'm 100% Australian. 4rth generation here I think. Prior to that I know my Irish ancestors (Clan Campbell of Argyle) came over from England on one of the convict ships (for stealing a bottle of alcohol mind you - is there any wonder there's several generations worth of alcoholics running rampant through my family tree?!? I kid you not! It's literally in the blood!
) That's all I know without varification from family. Don't feel like ringing anyone at midnight.
Somehow we're an English/Irish mix. Given the state of the English Irish relationships (think IRA) it's no wonder I'm usually at war with myself... on a psychological level at least. Also explains why I'm so goddam pale with English features (think nose for starters)... Yeah... but there was a fence-jumping problem at some point and we ended up grazing in not just our own genetic backyard (yes, I know) but the native Australian's here too, so I'm like misspiggy in that I have like 1/30-something% Aboriginal in me too... in the blood I mean... hmmm.... weird creature. Does it all make sense now - why I am the way I am...???
