i love it...

when i make a playlist i just cant decide what song to leave out and i end up taking them all :D

And that would be called "your opinion"

I've already done likewise, on the first page.

Opinions are not absolute. It may be your opinion that it's a shame that people don't like an album (*** forbid!) but that doesn't make it true.

Thank you, have a nice day.

I never said it was true. Honestly I really don't care if people don't like it. I just think it's a shame they don't, because I think it's better then their previous two. The whole concept of discussing music is opinionated anyway. So that's pretty much the entire idea behind it.

I'll say it once and I'll say it any day -
If you think MTM is a piece of ****, you have no musical variety and have no idea about the depth of this music. You're ignorant and truly don't understand it.

Hate to tell you but there really isn't that much depth to it, its still kinda repetitive...but I still like it....

Example: Wow Brad plays high notes over and over in like 4 songs lol...

Yes, I agree with your point about opinions. People often let their opinions in the way of music... or something like that... oh well, I can't explain it... but yeah... I hate it when people think a certain kind of music is bad/good, and they get mad when others don't share their opinion, heh.

But I also agree with you when you say its a shame that many of the fans don't like it. I love it... its a great step for Linkin Park, and I think it is better than their previous two.

I disagree with you!!!! lol... well... I think this album has alot more depth. Brad's style of guitar playing for LP albums has always been like that. It is still somewhat repetitive in some aspects, but its definatly an improvement over the last two albums. Almost every song on HT and Meteora were similar in their overall make up and composition. With MTM, this entirely changes. Every song seems to have its own evolution and identity. I think MTM has alot of depth, and 4 songs with high notes isn't that bad with 12 songs.

I think Minutes To Midnight is anything BUT repetetive; they've got a mix of ballards, heavy, and slow songs which I think is awesome, considering Meteora was said to be 'All the same'.

Meh, its your opinion I guess, I think it has a lot of variety! :)

meteora wasn't the same, neither was HT. but when they did have these huge power chords riffs (which was most of the time though of course) they always sounded the same.

and if you play guitar and look into it, you'll see that the FTI riff, and the rhythm guitar on Faint, are almost the same riff just played on a different pace lol

i dont hate,i just dont love ALL of it, i love certain aspects of it and i love some of the tracks....but some of the others? eh...

like jeezy said, it felt a little short, maybe a another 1-2 tracks perhaps, a little bit more joe, cause really...other than WID, you dont really hear much, and alot of the samples dont necesarily be from joe, as you watch from the DVD, it could have come from mike,chester....anyone, and perhaps...even just 1-2 tracks with a little bit more mongrel, like a faint, one step closer type track, and dont tell me given up is that type of track, it barely reaches the heights of a song like faint, one step closer, APFMH, ****, even papercut

- It may be more depth but not much more depth still compared to many other great bands...

- And you just agree 1/3 of the songs sound the same

-My point...LP has never had a lot of depth in there music.

-Another point to make is almost every LP song still follows an ABABCBB song format...

I don't hate it. I just found it funny when they are trying to make great album and trying to be different and they blew it. I can't see or hear any mature aspect in this album. Lyrics are almost the same as Meteora or HT or even weaker, not to say emo-ish. just different is, let's say, "background"; a softer music. I wouldn't mind soft music if you know how to do it right. I maybe sound like NY bullshit review but I mean every word I say about this record. It could be 150 times better. So I won't bother buying it, even downloading it. i'm waiting for a new record. till then HT and Meteora...

haha
seriously...you can be a huge lp fan and everything, and still not buy the album if you don't like it
Yeah true, but your not really supporting the band then, there is diffrent types of fans, the fans that stay ans support them even if their style changes, the fans that come and go, and the fans that only like maybe 1,2, 3 of their songs. ;) That's what I think.
