You did too change it, Tori. Granted, you didn't change any of the words but the way you added onto it changed the whole tone of your comment.
The way you had it the first time showed nothing more then an attitude on your part as if saying that I too was standing a chance of being sent to the box.

No, it ended with the ;) . What I added was after that. The tone was not changed. I asked if you wanted to see what you could and could not do. There would be no reason for me to change the tone. Sorry, if you misinterpreted the intent. There have been members who tried out the idiot box to see what they could and couldn

Don't worry about it so much Bec. We are not trigger happy and going to launch a nuke at ya. You already know I wouldn't. I seen you on your site and you are very much capable of debating as you possess a high degree of intelligence and substance. So far, you haven't done anything to even be considered an idiot. So relax...sit back, and chill. :cool: And to be honest with ya, if you are getting an approval from Hugh...well let's just say that's a good thing.

People shouldn't get touchy about our idiot box, it actually means nothing except that were playing around with you to see what kind of conversation we can provoke out of you. And, as stated before, one liners are pretty dumb, were not so much of a debate board as we are a web community of people who flip each other ****, new members usually get it the hardest because they have not really gotten to know any of us, were all actually pretty friendly to each other, even when were being ******** and messing with ya. You don't have to agree with ANY of us to be part of the site, but we do ask that you at least try to contribute to the topics, and let people get to know you a bit as an individual before you go off and just start spouting **** THIS, THIS SUCKS, YOUR AN ******* type comments.

Just like Anna earlier.. I happen to like Anna, but she come in with her Off Topic Forum style of writing, which may be funny in some of the off topic rant posts on here, but in other discussions, it is unwanted. If you look on the board, we pretty much have a place for everyone to post... from the guys who like to insult other members, to the people who want to discuss current society issues in an intelligent manner. The key to NOT getting tossed into the idiot box, is being able to sort out the categorys that fit what you want to debate, or rant on about.

I'm sure if you took the time to do this, you'll fit in just fine here, and again, WELCOME to GF.

Bec, I don't get what your problem is unless its being prepubescent. Aren't you old enough to NOT care about 'being accepted'. And really what threats do people really have in here?? Be serious. As I have said before to another person of your intellect, this is just the internet, nothing that happens here really matters.

I'm not part of any clique, I go out of my way to make people think, that means ******* people off at times. I have yet to be put in the box. I don't feel that this sight is moderated as you state at all. The only discussion we have had has been about **** on the sight. As far as the box goes I think of that being for someone who is just annoying as **** and wasting space with their verbal diarrhea.

Considerating the fact this is your first post, there is a certain someone bad mouthing this place and thinks the moderating is heavy, therefore making you follow in their footsteps. Which it really ain't...there are rules to this place of course that STILL allow you to have free speech. But people tend to abuse that freedom so there always has to be some sort of ruling. School would be a good example, when the teacher tells you to shut up. Or at a meeting. or in church, I am sure there is conduct there. Same applies to this place. Everywhere you go are rules. Since this is your first time here...you might want to post a lil bit more (after reading the rules of course) before making that judgement.
Take my word for it...most debate sites do not offer the freedom that we do.

I have a question. I'm probably taking a chance at getting sent to the idiot box but whatever.
I'm new here. I don't comment much but I do read. One thing I've noticed is that it seems like a lot of times, anyone that isn't in a certain group gets called out and sent to the idiot box. Or if someone says something to **** a Mod. off, they get unfairly sent to the box. Why is that?

Is it just my eyes playing tricks on me or are we really supposed to suck up to the mods in order not to get sent to the box?

Now, how long will I be there? LOL

**** near everyone here has had their time in the idiot box, just some of us learned from the experience :p others love the place (just wish they would take out the garbage before they left, the stench is beginning to leak out under the door
