If you read the posts on blabbermouth.net, they practically just slag em' off! theyre the best band since kurt kobain shot himself and destroyed nirvana

^ Yeah at least we know that we should be expecting them to be doing something different for us. I like the fact that they are trying new things for their fans. It's not like they abandond the idea of making a new cd. Plus we knew that they wern't going to come out with another cd for a while any way. I'm pretty interested to see what they are up to.

in my opinion' date=' this is the first step to a band breaking up.. everyone doing their own thing.[/quote']i agree... although i DIE at the thought of Linkin Park breaking up, i fear this might actually happen sometime... and this is the first step... i think it's cool that they're doing their own thing and stuff (a mike cd would be really cool) but i'm afraid that they won't get back together afterwards... *thinks happy thoughts* no, i can't think about this... *repeats to self: Linkin Park won't break up, Linkin Park won't break up* if i was totally sure that Linkin Park would still be LINKIN PARK after all this solo stuff, then i wouldn't mind at all... but the fact is i'm not totally sure.... and that's why i think it would just be better if they sticked together and worked on a new album....

some things are just rumors... nobody's actually left the band and they never said they're splitting up... although that might happen someday... *still thinking happy thoughts*

If LP are splittin i would know about it but as i dont there is a 75% chance they aren't i've heard chester is takin a break to spend time with his family but thats not 2

Thank you Lord! It is so good to hear that they want to try a new angle with the next album and not be redundant! I was so scared they were going to run themselves into the ground for a while. Yes! *jumps up and down* woo-hoo!

Okay guys, lets calm down and take a deep breath. Why would this mean anything about the band breaking up? ****, they have always done thier own thing - always. Pheonix even left the band right before the first album debuted. They always stay busy, but they also now that without this band they aint worth a **** to anyone. Its where they get thier names, thier fame, and thier money. These side jobs they are involved in are no way to make a living compared to Linkin Park. They are smart enough to know that. I think that by doing these other things, it will help them achieve more inspiration for the next album, and make it wound even better when they try and change thier sound. I'm not worried about a break-up at all.

Both Clogz and Amy_Shinoda showed pretty good points of view. Different, but still good. I'm also fearing a possible break-up... It would not be the first time it would've happened. We've seen it happen to other bands. And even though LP is not a band like any other, the thought of them splitting up is on the back of my mind, and that makes me sad. I'd hate them to split up :( All this side projects are kinda confusing, and if it's true that tehy always had some side projects, I don't think they'd ever needed to warn people of that... If they feel the need to warn the fans that tehy'll be doing it, I don't know, maybe there's something behind it. Oh I hate to think about it *shakes head* But reading Clogz' post maybe me think twice, and I think he's right in what he says, and maybe we're worrying for nothing after all. Let's hope that although it takes a long time, the new album will be the one that kicks most *** lol
