It's really sad. I mean how could a wave do that much damage? it's really devistating. 9.0 earthquake wow, but be thankfull it didn't happen on land. Or that would probally kill hundreds of thousands!

I was on a trip with my friend so I didn't even know it happened until yesterday. I left on Sunday, and it was three days in a 500 dollar a night hotel, so we weren't paying attention to anything.

***, its scary though. It really is. Its like 9/11, in the sense that you feel the seriousness in your heart as well as your mind. Its a terrible tragedy, and it really is troubling that it actually knocked the Earth off-kilter six centimeters. Those third world countries are never going to recover, ever. I mean, they'll get a ton of help but it won't be enough. They had next to nothing, and now they don't even have that.

I agree with what alot of people have said already. Pray for those people. Pray for everyone.

u know whats funny is that we all seen countries like Iraq and Afghanistan been showered by hundreds of booms & seen the destruction off it all & here is this 1 wave that’s done the same damage if not greater damage
