I actually enjoyed the books. To be honest, I couldn't put them down. But they aren't my favourite novles, and they aren't ones that I would purchase or want to read again. But for what they were, I thought it was a good read. The movie, I was expecting to suck more than it did. It was cute, but I really don't understand all the hype over it. Not saying I didn't enjoy it, but again it's not something I'd sit down and watch again. What I like is that the author didn't stick to the normal vampire cliches: burning up in the sunlight, steak through the heart, big fangs and all that. I like that she had a unique idea about a world of vampires and werewolves and I think she used that pretty effectively.
